Bugged Ledgers with an eSIM implant still passed Genuine Check. A $15 milligram scale does not care. Weigh before you trust. 3D centre-of-mass view, optional SDR burst check. Runs locally.

Why

  • Oct 2026: CryptoBilis implants found in resold Ledgers. An extra eSIM board sends the seed out over cellular.
  • ~$86–93M taken from 300+ wallets (CoinDesk). One reseller. 7 markets told to halt Ledger sales (Cointelegraph).
  • Genuine Check still passes. It verifies the chip, not a board sitting next to it.

How it works

  1. Weigh 3+ times on a 0.001 g scale against a same-batch reference.
  2. Read the 3D centre-of-mass view: an implant pulls it off-axis.
  3. Optional: SDR check for cellular bursts from a powered-off device in a Faraday bag.
  4. Flagged? Do not enter your seed. Move funds to a new device bought directly from Ledger.
